JEE 2026 Preparation: Complete Strategy to Crack IIT Entrance

JEE 2026 — The Structure

JEE Main 2026: NTA conducts two sessions (January + April), best score counts. JEE Advanced: for top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualifiers — IIT admission. Physics, Chemistry, Maths carry equal weight in both.

Subject Strategy

Mathematics: Most differentiating subject. Priority: Calculus (25-30% of maths), Coordinate Geometry, Complex Numbers, Probability. Minimum 150-200 problems per topic.

Physics: Conceptual over memorisation. Priority: Mechanics (30%), Electrostatics + Current Electricity (25%), Modern Physics (15%). NCERT is mandatory — many JEE Main questions come directly from NCERT.

Chemistry: Highest marks per hour invested. Organic (35%): reaction mechanisms. Physical (35%): numerical problems. Inorganic (30%): NCERT + periodic trends.
