Why This Section Exists Separately
Quantitative Aptitude is tested as its own scored section in nearly every banking (SBI PO/Clerk, IBPS PO/Clerk, RBI), SSC (CGL, CHSL), and railway (RRB NTPC) exam β and it rewards dedicated, isolated practice more than any other section, since speed and formula recall compound with repetition.

Speed Techniques That Matter Most
β’Squares up to 30, cubes up to 15, tables up to 20 memorised cold β this alone saves meaningful time across an exam.
β’Percentage-to-fraction conversion table (12.5% = 1/8, 16.67% = 1/6, etc.) for instant approximation in DI.
β’Elimination in DI: for "which of the following is highest/lowest" questions, approximate first β exact calculation is rarely necessary.
Prelims vs Mains Difference
Prelims tests individual, standalone questions under tight per-question time pressure. Mains shifts weight toward Data Interpretation sets and combines quant with reasoning in "quant-based reasoning" hybrid questions β meaning Mains prep must specifically include mixed-question practice, not just topic-wise drilling.
