Candidates pursuing multiple PSU targets simultaneously (a common strategy, since PSU recruitment cycles and routes vary) should evaluate offers considering factors beyond compensation alone: posting location flexibility (some PSUs have more geographically concentrated postings than others), the specific engineering work involved (a Mechanical engineer's actual day-to-day work differs meaningfully between a power-generation PSU and a heavy-equipment-manufacturing PSU, even though both recruit "Mechanical" candidates), and long-term career-growth structure within that specific PSU.
