RRB NTPC Overview
What is RRB NTPC?
RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories) is one of India's most popular government job examinations, conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards under the Ministry of Railways. It is called "Non-Technical" because the posts do not require specific technical/engineering qualifications.
Why RRB NTPC is Popular
REASONS FOR POPULARITY:
Large vacancies: 30,000-50,000 posts in each recruitment cycle
Low qualification: Class 12 or degree sufficient for most posts
Job security: government job with pension and lifetime benefits
Free railway travel: one of the best perks (pass for self and family)
Transfers: across India (some see as advantage, others disadvantage)
