30+ full mocks correlates with meaningfully higher scores than subject-study alone — the exam-taking skill (time management, pacing, negative-marking strategy) is trainable and distinct from subject knowledge.
Mock tests only have real value if taken under genuine exam conditions (full 3-hour window, no pausing, no phone, OMR bubbling practice) — casual practice doesn't train the actual skill the exam requires.
The most-skipped step (analyzing every wrong answer: topic, why wrong, what to revise) is where almost all of a mock's real diagnostic value lives — taking the mock without this analysis wastes most of its usefulness.

Time and question strategy

Starting time allocation: Biology ~50 min, Physics ~65 min, Chemistry ~65 min — a starting framework to personalize via actual mock performance, not a rigid rule.

Score plateaus

Genuine test anxiety (persistent physical symptoms, blanking on known material) is a real, addressable issue distinct from normal nervousness — not something to push through with more raw study hours alone.
Final week shifts strategy deliberately: fewer/no new full mocks, review the accumulated mistake log, protect sleep — this is a strategic consolidation, not a slowdown.
