Importance in NEET

Chemistry in NEET carries 180 marks β€” equal to Physics. However, Chemistry is generally considered more scoring than Physics because:

β€’Inorganic Chemistry is almost entirely from NCERT (factual, memorise once)
β€’Organic reactions follow patterns β€” understand once, apply everywhere
β€’Physical Chemistry requires fewer lengthy calculations than JEE

95% directly from NCERT. Memorize reactions/properties, 2-3 revisions mandatory
Organic β€” ~35%

INORGANIC CHEMISTRY (~40% of NEET Chemistry):
